If you own an Archos 7, you need this. It allows you to connect the big Archos to your television, either by Composite video or S video, and will also let you connect a USB stick, so you can read the contents on the Archos. If used with the Archos 5, it will allow you to charge the device off the mains supply rather than your computer, something that is not necessary with the Archos 7. If you own an Archos, this is essential.

I needed a way to transfer my downloaded films on to the tv/projector. Having looked at the price of the docking station I decided to buy the snap ons as the 2 together ( one to copy from TV to Archos and this one, Archos to TV)came to less than the docking station.
It works very well and allows you to send your images to the TV via either S video or componanant,It also allows the content from a flash drive to be thrown to the TV. its a shame that the usb conector does not allow an external mouse or keyboard to control the archos. Still not a major problem.

I got this for my girlfriend's family but on ordering was slightly apprehensive, i received the dock the next day after ordering, well packaged and looking good. The dock is perfect, it charges your archos, it allows you to play out video onto a tv screen or whatever, allows instant USB connection, it's just a simply excellent piece of kit. If you have an archos 5, get it!

Simple feedback here. This docking station does it all. I have connected my Archos to my sky+ box within minutes. The remote is very smart as well! Top product and a must have for the Archos 5 or 7.
