I was given this as a surprise christmas present and I was taken aback at how small it is, and it did make me wonder. However i find it much easier and more efficient than my classic video iPod. I find it perfect for car/bus journeys, walking, and taking to university. I know a lot of people have complained about the controls but i havnt had a problem with them. I personally find it easier to use the controls(which are placed on the earphone wire rather than the ipod itself) when walking rather than whipping the bigger ipod out of my bag, changing songs, then placing it back in a place for easy access, whilst stopping my earphones from falling out, which isnt so convenient when walking to classes or walking home etc.
I was quite surprised when i came on amazon to find it had such low reviews and felt it deserved more as i have had no problems at all with it.
In all, its small, convenient, holds enough songs and am pleased i was given this as a gift.

I purchased this as a gift for my technophone Mum, she loves it a quickly got to grips with it. Much sleeker than earlier versions and with the added bonus of the "voiceover" which tells you the song and artist if you select it.

As tiny as a fingenail clip it anywhere 10 hour battery life holds up to 1000 songs change the tracks/volume on the earphones it's def a must have!

I like this item and it's very simple. I use if for the Gym all the time. It's so easy to use. I don't like bulky Ipods, and I don't even have to look at what I am doing. I just press the controls, and navigate that way. It's dead easy. I bought the pink one for me, and the black one for my Fiance. We use them to work out. They are also great for journeys by bus, train ect! If you want the more flashy Ipod, then spend more money. Is dose what I want it to do, and dose the job of keeping me going at the gym, and clips anywhere!

What I love about this ipod is it's size and weight, it's so tiny and very stylish (unlike the previous model). This ipod is the best travel companion your money can buy, you don't need to worry about braking it and you don't need a protective case for it. Some people critisized the sound quality of the headphones provided but I am more than satisfied. I compared Applr headphones to my old Sony and Panasonic ones (similar design and similar price range) and found out that Apple headphones were 10 times better (do your own comparison if you don't believe me).
Overall I'm over the moon with my purchase, I've been using it for 7 months now and enjoyed every minute of it. I hope that soon Apple will introduce new models with a larger capacity - 6 and 8GB because 4GB is not enough anymore, I want more!
