when i ordered this player i was looking for something cheap to use in the gym as my main player is a bit too bulky, i was expecting something plastic and awful.
I find myself very pleasently suprised, the body of the player is all aluminium and it feels very sturdy indeed, the buttons have a good feel to them and seem quite solid, the clip itself is very strong and i can't see much chance of it falling off at any point. The sound quality is also suprising for the price, it's much better then i expecting it to be and the volume is very good, it's almost hard to believe that something that small could be that loud. thus far the battery life seems to be a good 4 hours or so too. One thing that doesn't seem to have been mentioned before that i found quite good is that there is an LED on the top that flashes to let you know when the player is playing or paused.
If you're looking for something to replace an Ipod shuffle then this probably isn't for you, the sound quality doesn't quite compare, but if you're looking for something you don't mind breaking at the gym, it's very good indeed and i would highly recommend

perfect small mp3 player bought for my son and was so easy to use unlike some others just plugged it in to comp with usb lead provided and whilst me and my son put his mp3's on it charged it self up.
it has very clear sound and is easy to use no silly buttons to flick back and forward and also has an off/on switch not one of the time out versions that waste battery life it charges through usb cable so can be charged through any usb connection for easyness well worth the money.

Even after reading the positive feedback I was amazed on receiving the item just how solid and non-tacky this little all-aluminium gem is. Only negative: the instructions are a tad brief. It seems that soft-off is what most people would call pause, but as there is no further information, you just have to guess. And it does not play whilst the USB is connected - not a problem, but you find this by trial and error. Overall excellent, because I love it!

Recieved my sweex mp3 player a few days ago, very very impressed. great size, great build quality, good weight and a generally nice feel. completely reject the reviews suggesting a poor sound quality as with the earphones which come with the product very impressive especially for the price which is also particularly reasonable. decent battery life, bought personally for running and works perfectly with a good solid clip. would definately recommend to others.

This is a good quality no frills piece of kit which works well and gives good sound quality. The playing of tracks is not viewable by screen, you need to skip tracks from start to finish, but its a small criticism for the price and size of storage.
I use this with the "aux" input 2.5mm jackplug on my mondeo in car cd/radio and it is very good, but you will need a separate lead for this. Charging up is via the supplied usb off your pc, this seems to last about 3 hours and then volume starts to drop. The unit also works well on my wifes in car sony radio/cd usb input too, so if you are looking for this extra functionality in car its a good product. :-)
