I'm just coming up to 62 and decided to have an mp3. I chose this because it was pink and I must say it is brilliant. My grandson downloaded and now I'm well away. It clips on very securely and the sound is impressive. What next I wonder.

I bought this player thinking it was good value, the delivery was very quick and it looked like it did on the box.
Inside the instructions were brief and to the point.
The complaint I have really concerns the amounts of playback time once it is charged up - I bought it for my wife and it seems she is giving it back to me after a very short time to be recharged again. She doesn't play it much so it looks like you don't get very much playback time. Also it doesn't have a shuffle facility which would have been nice.
Overall this was a waste of money.
Nice idea but low build quality spoil it August 4, 2010 Mister Vanadium (Europe) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Cheap for a functional small 2Gb MP3 player. The playback quality is reasonable, and the device works well as a USB mass storage disk - if you plug it into a Windows XP/Vista/7 machine it is quickly and simply seen as a disk drive. The metal case and clip is nice too.
Unfortunately many of the other materials used in building it are extremely cheap, especially the on/off switch. Mine broke, and I only got the player working by taking it apart and permanently pushing the switch to the on position. The control pad for play/pause/volume/skip is of low build quality too.
If you take it apart:
* remove the screw above the USB connector. Accept that when you reassemble it you probably won't get the spring back in so it won't work as a clip anymore
* under the clip there are two notches - use a small screwdriver to push those down
* make sure you push the player out of the metal case from the usb side, not the headphone jack side, otherwise you will break a small plastic tab that holds the control key pad in
* once the player is about 3-4mm out of the case, you can flip the control pad out, and remove the player
When you take it apart you can see that the battery is cheap, as is the on/off switch. The control pad is a set of bubble push buttons (a bit like the ZX spectrum used to have), but that's obvious even without dis-assembly.
I've given it one star because I think the risk of the device breaking within weeks of purchase is extremely high. If it weren't for that, it would be a 4 star device.
don't buy it!!! May 3, 2010 Florin Zarcu 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
it has just one problem, a big one: the battery lasts only 1 hour, no matter how long is charged!
