This CD player is great. I agree with all the points the other reviewer has mentioned. Its a great CD player however i would like to mention there is one point which if covered would have made this an A* item. It does not have a headphone socket, however the socket which they have has been made into an AUX-IN socket wich allows mp3 or iphone to be connected and the CD players speakers can be used to play your MP3 music or itunes. As it came with this bonus feature, i have given it 5* as the headphone issue for me isnt a big deal as i prefer the ophone connection. very fast delivery from amazon, i received it next day as i have Amazon prime which is great.
At this price you wont go wrong, great bargain

Big sound - small box - even smaller price!
I bought this to enhance the sound output of my laptop when travelling around making small presentations for my club. It is highly portable, being light and compact, with a good quality sound for its size.
It is also not unattractive and very easy to use so, with the aux-in jack connection and CD facility, it is ideal for my purposes - plus the convenience of battery power for those Bohemian moments...
...and for the price, excellent value.

Fast Delivery is the first thing I would like to mention. Ordered it Monday morning with expedited delivery to receive it Tuesday morning - WOW
-This item looked good from the moment I opened the box. The packaging is really nice, it explains all the functions.
-The item itself is silver colour, looks fresh and modern; looks very nice on my shelf
-Led display shows which track number is being played
-The CD is put in at the top; very easy, just open the lid and stick in the tray, it's a manual function lid hence it's better as it won't ever get stuck
-There is a radio installed in it. All the top UK AM.FM stations are on it
-Sound quality: The sound is good, it's not a HIFI quality, but it is very good compared to its size. No crackles or sizzles.
-I have connected my iPhone to it and played my iTunes through the aux in jack, unfortunately it doesn't come with a 3.5mm cable, but I did manage to purchase the Duronic 3.5mm Goldspec cable which is excellent quality and sends my iTunes sound very nicely to the Duronic Boombox. Any 3.5mm cable should do the job. I just bought it together as it was recommended by Duronic.
- Power: comes with UK mains plug, this was good as I remember my previous unit came with a 2 pin plug which was useless without an adaptor. Item can also be powered by 8 x c size batteries; this function is ok if you have a party in the garden which our kids can use in summer time.
